Abstract: | Current estimates suggest that 30% of Australian stroke survivors experience persisting disability and decreased daily functioning. The incidence of common ongoing deficits is underestimated and there is often no routine system for appropriate long term follow-up of patients. Post stroke review generally focuses on risk factor measurement and modification. |
