Background: Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) has been performed at Epworth Healthcare since 2010. TAVI provides an alternative to conventional surgery for elderly patients. A 5F St Jude Medical temporary pacing wire is inserted via the internal jugular vein, due to occurrence of conduction disturbance in several patients. This review was undertaken to implement a structured approach to nursing management of the temporary pacing wire.en_US
