| Abstract: | Interprofessional simulation training may enhance clinicians’ role awareness and interdisciplinary skills. In a previous study we tested nursing and medical students’ perceptions of a simulation program for managing deteriorating patients and found that a minimum of 2 simulation sessions were needed to observe sustained growth in student perception of improved interdisciplinary communication and teamwork. The present study tested if these simulations impacted them in their future clinical practice as registered doctors and nurses. |
