Abstract: The Australian government's National Action Plan for Endometriosis emphasises supporting research based on need, boosting research organisations, improving data collection, enhancing collaboration, and investing in key research priorities. Establishing endometriosis-specific biobanks will facilitate further research into its causes, improve diagnosis and early detection, support personalised treatments, advance drug development, support longitudinal studies, encourage collaboration and data sharing, and increase understanding of endometriosis sub-types.
