This chapter serves to describe a systematic approach designed to develop a sound understanding of user satisfaction of hospital information services. The design incorporates the hospital context where consumers of healthcare data are many and varied, including physicians, nurses, surgeons and allied healthcare professionals, as well as various levels of management. The project described is designed to develop a thorough and in-depth analysis of all these user needs and, thus, systems can be designed optimally, which, in turn, will lead to better healthcare outcomes. The project outcomes include a verified instrument catering to user satisfaction within the hospital context.en_US
